BIMstream partnered with Payette to deliver a multi-phase urban streetscape and façade reality capture project across multiple downtown Providence city blocks. The engagement combined aerial photogrammetry using fixed-wing and quad drones with mobile LiDAR scanning of streets, sidewalks, site fixtures, and building façades, producing LOD 100 Revit streetscape models with an upgrade path to LOD 200, along with reality meshes and Rhino exports to support visualization and planning workflows.
An optional scope extended the project to include terrestrial scanning and modeling of five historic landmarks, including Providence City Hall and the Industrial Trust Building. Final deliverables consisted of coordinated models, PDF documentation, Rhino files, and hosted imagery, providing Payette with a comprehensive and accessible digital record of the urban environment for design collaboration and planning.
