BIMstream delivered comprehensive reality capture and BIM modeling services for AESC's Line 1 and Line 2 battery production facilities in Smyrna, Tennessee, covering more than 570,000 sq. ft. of advanced manufacturing space across five scanning phases aligned with key construction milestones. Using NavVis VLX, GeoSLAM Revo RT, Leica RTC360, AutoMap, and drone photogrammetry, the team documented the site from pre-construction through final build, capturing complete spatial and visual data across mezzanine levels, tunnels, and MEP-intensive areas.
Detailed Revit digital twins were produced incorporating full structural, architectural, and MEP systems down to 2" piping and critical equipment assets, with all 360° imagery and merged point clouds hosted via BIMstream’s CERQA platform for QA/QC, coordination, and clash detection. Working collaboratively with AESC and Merrick, BIMstream integrated all DWG and model data into the existing project infrastructure, delivering RCS files, aligned Revit models, and a complete 2D documentation set including floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and schedules.
