BIMstream captured, scanned, and modeled the 1.8 million sq. ft. original John Hancock Tower in Boston, completing all on-site work in days rather than weeks using advanced mobile LiDAR technology, including full coverage of all mechanical spaces. The modeling team adhered to John Hancock and Manulife interior standards, accurately incorporating the manufacturer, make, and model of each workstation and furniture piece throughout the building.
The resulting comprehensive BIM model supported the delivery of a detailed BOMA report and enabled a fast-tracked lobby renovation, with all stakeholders accessing both 360° photogrammetry and the hosted Revit model through BIMstream's platform for ongoing coordination and planning.
