BIMstream partnered with Finegold Alexander Architects to deliver full reality capture and digital twin modeling for a 75,000 sq. ft., six-story laboratory and research facility at Brandeis University. Using a multi-scanner workflow combining NavVis VLX, GeoSLAM Revo RT, and Leica RTC360, the team performed interior and exterior LiDAR scanning, above-ceiling MEP capture, and 360° imagery, with strategic ceiling access allowing capture of concealed infrastructure without disrupting active research operations.
Deliverables included EMD 200 Revit models for all visible architectural and structural elements and EMD 300 models for above-ceiling systems and mechanical spaces, along with a complete 2D documentation set covering area plans, RCPs, sections, elevations, and equipment schedules. All data and 360° imagery were hosted via BIMstream Cloud for remote access and coordination, providing Brandeis and Finegold Alexander with a precise digital framework to support renovation, system design, and future energy efficiency initiatives.
