BIMstream, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, provided pro bono reality capture and digital modeling services at Boston Children's Hospital in partnership with The Red Sox Foundation's Home Base Program, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Suffolk Construction, supporting Home Base's mission to heal the invisible wounds of war for veterans, service members, and their families. BIMstream performed LiDAR scanning of areas undergoing modernization, including above-ceiling capture within infectious disease areas using a containment cart to ensure safe and compliant documentation in sensitive healthcare environments.
Fieldwork was completed in approximately two days on site, followed by several weeks of studio production, delivering 3D Revit models and 2D floor plans to support accurate existing-condition documentation and renovation planning. All services were provided entirely pro bono, reflecting BIMstream's deep commitment to veterans and community impact.
